We started Scaleup Global because we love the human aspect of recruiting. We have a passion for connecting top talent with innovative tech companies globally. We treat people like human beings, not numbers. (We also treat dogs like humans, but that’s another story.) Get to know us! Read on below.
Trista Widmann - Founder
Trista has spent the last 12 years recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin, Chicago, and Canadian tech markets. She enjoys scaling startups and loves establishing long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
When she isn't recruiting, she loves traveling, hiking, volunteering in the community, and reading in her hammock.
Krista Robb - Founder
Krista has 12 years of experience recruiting for high tech startups in the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin and Canadian tech markets. She firmly believes that people are a company's most valuable asset and loves building lasting relationships with her portfolio companies and candidates.
Outside of the office you can find her running, working on her golf swing or enjoying a glass of wine on a sunny patio.
Callie Vandegrift - Partner
Callie has been scaling high-growth startups in the San Francisco Bay and Canadian tech markets for the last 5 years. She takes pride in her ability to work quickly to provide great talent to her clients.
When not working, you can find Callie at the gym, sipping on a latte, or on a hike (and by hike, we mean laying on her couch watching Netflix in her blanket sweatshirt).
Murphy - Chief Lounge Officer
Murphy is the leading Chief Lounge Officer in the industry. He enjoys sunbathing, sitting in the backyard letting the wind flow through his fur, and snoring behind his mom while she’s on the phone. He’s proud to be part of the ScaleUp Global pack.
Honey & Teddy – Chief Happiness Officers
When not hard at work, Honey and Teddy spend the majority of their time lounging around the house and begging for attention from anyone who will give it. They can often be found together laying in their backyard bird watching - barking and chasing after birds that are bigger than they are (geese are a favorite). The key to their hearts are green beans, carrots, and a good walk.
Samantha Brown - Partner
Sam has spent over 9 years recruiting in the tech industry, and has had the opportunity to recruit both agency side and in-house. Due to her breadth of experience she deeply understands how crucial it is for companies to get the right hire, and for candidates to take the right job. She’s prompt, dependable, and prides herself on her ability to fill even the most challenging of roles.
Outside of work she likes to spend her free time with her husband, son, and their 2 dogs. She can also be found traveling to new countries, and she’s made it her personal mission to find the world’s best grilled cheese sandwich.
Yogi, Winnie & Odie - Chief Fetch Officers
On their days off, Yogi, Winnie & Odie spend most of their time sleeping in the sun, barking at the kids next door, and hiding from the vacuum. Yogi, Winnie & Odie are excited to be a part of the team at ScaleUp Global where their efforts will be paid in treats and belly rubs.
Remy - Chief Bark Officer
Remy takes his chief barking duties very seriously. When Remy's not working, you can find him barking at the FedEx delivery driver, looking out the window for the neighbors cat, hiking in the foothills, and sleeping... Oh, and trying to eat every possible thing in sight.
